Favorite thing about SUNY Upstate:
There are several things that make SUNY Upstate a very good destination for international students-(1) Flexibility in choosing the program- students get the opportunity to do the lab rotations in any PhD granting department, (2) Cordial faculty and staff members, (3) A lot of international students are enrolled at Upstate, so we don't feel isolated here.

Favorite thing about Syracuse or Central New York:
Syracuse is a relatively small city. You will find everything you need within the driving distance.

What I do for fun: Watching soccer and movies.
